99 Things…

This idea was taken from Carmen at Keeping up Klapper.

One year ago, I attended a retreat at a local church.  One of the many, many ideas and fodder for thought I got out of the weekend was the importance of practicing life according to what my priorities are… of not letting the urgent take precedence over what is most important (hmm… that reminds me of Mary of Mary, Martha and Lazarus)… of having my actions match up with what I say is important to me.  I have to say that a year later I haven’t yet translated that spark of insight into action in my life as much as I would like to.  That being said… here is a list of 99 things someone else created as important to do in life.  It got me thinking about things I would like to do with my life… and steps to take to make that happen instead of merely sitting here letting life unfold as it may.  Maybe I’ll compose my own list in a future blog… but for now this will do.  It encompasses travel, big life events, and the more “mundane” parts of life (which are often more memorable than the big moments).  Here’s my list… feel free to comment or blog about yours and post a link to your blog!

Copy the list, bold the ones you’ve done (with explanations if needed) and share with friends.
