Christ is risen!

I heard this song for the first time this morning and had to share.  Just another reminder we are saved by grace to live in Abundance!

Oh Death, where is your sting?  O Hell, where is your victory?

Oh church, come stand in the light… the glory of God has defeated the night!

Our God is not dead, He’s alive, He’s alive!

I love having this time during the year to remember… more so than the usual… just what it is that God and his son did and continue to do for us… how amazing it is that we have this God on our side… loving us when we fail, taking all life circumstances and using them for HIS glorification.  How amazing is it that we approach Easter knowing the end of the story… not only that Christ is risen from the dead but that he IS victorious in the end.  I don’t know about you, but I needed the reminder… not only that it is okay to be where I am but that he’s won, he wins, sometimes the world can drag us down but overall GOD has already defeated sin through the cross and the empty tomb.

Have a blessed Easter day…

  1. Great song. thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. I enjoyed looking over your sight. God is so good. We don’t fully realize His grace.

  2. Beautiful Song! I hope you day was good… happy Easter to you too! It is true that we need to be reminded of the significance of the cross, it totally puts things back into perspective. Not only that Christ died but he also rose again… I like how you said, “GOD has already defeated sin through the cross and the empty tomb”… it is finished. It’s already been taken care of… we just have to walk in it! 🙂 Thank you for commenting and visiting my page! Hope to hear from you again!

  3. There is a little something for you on my blog.
