  2. What’s Dollar Sunday?

    • My church does a meal after church once a month serving food that costs about $1/serving to make. Anyone who wants to participate is asked to pay $1 for the meal and then donate what we would have spent on a meal out (or, in my case, I often use what I would have spent to make a meal since we don’t eat out on Sundays after church anymore). The donations are added to a social justice fund that we have to help various charities/projects in our area.

  4. So glad to see we are not the only ones who make breakfast for dinner! Hehehe… We are having that on Friday this week! (Hopefully…)

  5. What a great idea! Do people in the church then take turns preparing the food, or is there a committee that does it each month?

    • Right now there are just different people who prepare the food but there could be a committee in the future. 🙂 I know there are a couple of people who consistently go shopping for the food at Sams/Cosco/some place like that. I really like the idea as well! We aren’t always able to stay but it is nice when we do.
